By creating individual component tables from an integration perspective, complex relationships can be established: Facilities, Equipment, and Support Facilities. Projects are being expanded to include some of the other forty subject areas and this presentation explores 3 projects that go "Beyond the Well" within PPDM: Field Data Capture, Measurement Management, AFE and Drilling Costs. EnergyIQ announced that they are working with two new companies to implement a PPDM Master Data Store. In both cases, US well and production data will be loaded from IHS into a PPDM 3.8 data model and this will be updated on a nightly basis. The master data store will be used to feed data to end user applications and eventually will be used to capture the knowledge created in these applications.
EnergyIQ has recently worked with two application vendors to assist them with the mapping of their application to the PPDM data model. This ensures consistency with generally accepted best practices and promotes compatibility with other applications.
